After more than 4 years of negotiation, Vietnamese durians were officially exported to the Chinese market when satisfying all technical standards and product quality requirements of the General Administration of Customs of China.<\/em><\/p>\n

On the afternoon of September 17th, 2022, the announcement ceremony on the export of the first batch of durians under the Decree signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Administration of Customs of China<\/strong> coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People\u2019s Committee of Dak Lak Province was held at Tan An Square, Dak Lak.<\/p>\n

The announcement ceremony honored to welcome the participation of the Party Central Committee Members: Le Minh Hoan - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Nguyen Dinh Trung \u2013 Secretary of Party Committee of Dak Lak Province, and representatives of central ministries and branches, representatives of departments and branches of Dak Lak province, Krong Pac district, export enterprises and a large number of people in Krong Pac district.<\/p>\n

In the ceremony, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development \u2013 Le Minh Hoan sent greetings and a shared happiness to all local people, households, and the community of durian exporters nationwide. The signing of the Decree on the Export of Durians was an important milestone opening up many development opportunities for the Vietnamese durian export on a safe, effective, and quality basis with a close linkage from the production stage to the consumption stage in the market, thereby promoting Vietnam\u2019s position in the international market.<\/p>\n

Though China is a very strict market on quality, food hygiene and safety, and the Covid-19 pandemic prevention, the careful preparation made Vietnamese durians meet all requirements on product quality and export conditions to reach this important signing ceremony.<\/p>\n

This was considered a strong start to revive and free up Vietnam's fruit export industry in general and durian export in particular as a basis to expand the durian export market, promote the development potential, and above all contribute greatly to the stability of the durian growing community.<\/p>\n
