Starting her entrepreneurial journey in the 1990s with a small fruit trading business, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu founded \u201cChanh Thu Fruit Depot\u201d in 1997<\/strong>, focusing on key fruit products such as longan, rambutan, and banana. From the success of exporting dried longans to China, she boldly expanded into fresh fruit exports, helping Vietnamese farmers move beyond unstable trading practices and develop large-scale cultivation areas for export. In 2002, she officially established Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Co., Ltd.<\/strong>, laying the foundation for building a high-quality Vietnamese fruit brand. Through her determination and strategic vision, Ms. Thu has led Chanh Thu to become a pioneering enterprise in exporting fresh fruits to demanding markets<\/strong> such as the United States, Australia, Japan, and the European Union.<\/p>\n

Under her leadership, Chanh Thu has achieved numerous milestones: in 2012<\/strong>, the company was certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)<\/strong> with packing house codes for official longan exports to the U.S.; in 2019<\/strong>, Chanh Thu became the first Vietnamese company to export mangoes to the U.S.<\/strong>; and in 2020<\/strong>, successfully shipped the first batch of lychees to Japan<\/strong>. Alongside export expansion, Ms. Thu invested in building a modern fruit processing and freezing plant certified to FSSC 22000 standards<\/strong>, with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons, while developing raw material areas that meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and U.S. Code<\/strong> standards.
